Living in the DC area, we got the extremes of each season. Summer would be sweltering and winter, well — the years we lived there, DC went through Snowpocolypse, Snowmageddon, and whatever the snowstorm last winter (2015/2016) was called. Needless to say, it was cold!
Even though I wasn’t happy with the weather, there’s beauty to be found pretty much anywhere, anytime. I looked in my backyard and found these buds encased in ice. They were beautiful. And I knew that once spring came, they would flower into even more beauty.

Even though it looks like I did compose with the rule of thirds in mind, I thought that there was too much negative space. Head over to the blog that I created specifically for my Project Edit 365 challenge to see the original and the edits I made. Thanks!
