Axbo Alarm Clock The one and only aXbo Schlafphasenwecker

I guess it’s a stretch to call an alarm clock a toy, but this has been so far. Well, for me it has been. Du has actually had to use it to wake up. The cool thing about it is that it monitors your sleep cycle and will wake you up when you’re in your lightest phase of sleep. Supposedly you feel more refreshed and not so sluggish and dead when you wake up in your lightest sleep phase.

The verdict is still out as to whether it’s totally worth it. But, since he got it, Du hasn’t been complaining about how crappy he feels when he wakes up. I doubt he’ll ever leave the house skipping and whistling, but I’ll take what I can get.

  1. Hello…

Real funny to read. Nearly the same happened in my new “aXbo way of getting up”. Getting up at 6 o’clock in the moring freaked me completely out every day. And now everything is so relaxed and getting up became a problem of yesterday for me. Luckily for me, it is not a problem to get up directly after the aXbo has woken me up. If the aXbo wakes me up e.g. 18 minutes before I should get up, I have more time for breakfast :-)… and I am fitter at the same time.

Btw, I am from Austria like the inventors. Cool that we’re known for innovations and this cool gadget now.

  2. Hello! We used to live in Stuttgart, Germany and appreciate the efficiency of things made in Germany and Austria!
After using the aXbo for a couple of months I think we are both believers. For about a week the clock wasn’t waking my husband up before his set time and the “beep, beep” alarm would go off. We were wondering if it would ever learn his cycle. After that week the clock has worked great. Like you, he does have more time in the morning, and feels better even though he’s getting up “earlier”.
Glad to know there’s another fan out there!

  3. I’ve been to Stuttgart for some concerts. I like Germany, especially Berlin and Leipzig. May I ask you where you live now?

When I travel I leave the aXbo at home because I am afraid I could lose it somewhere. However, my mobile phone is absolutely no replacement for the aXbo. On the contrary, I am always badly woken up and I really feel completely down after getting up on these days. I travel to L.A. this summer and I’m seriously thinking about taking the aXbo with me. So I can enjoy my vacations a lot more, I’m sure.
