No one ever blamed us of being observant

So, I did a little bit of Spring Cleaning today and neither Du nor my oldest child could detect a difference. I told them to look at the room hard to notice. Do you see?

There’s Du in the second picture taking in the whole room, trying to figure out the difference.

When I got the third hole in my left ear I could only stand it for several days before I had to TELL Du to look for something different about me. He asked, “spiritual, physical, or emotional change?”

I wonder if he’ll figure out the living room change by reading this post. Look carefully at the pictures above, honey.

I'm a photographer and homeschooler Dream = travel blogger. We move around every couple of years. That's fine, I love seeing different parts of our great country and the world. Great things: Jesus, traveling, photography, eating, sewing, scrapbooking, reading, shopping...not necessarily in that order.

  1. All right you know-it-alls. I see what it is. 😉

Once you look at the pictures it’s pretty obvious. OK, for you experts out there, how many gutter drain pipes do you have on your house? Where do they go down? Do they go into the ground or splash out? Do you have splash stones or not?

Just a few questions on how something so obvious can get overlooked.

  2. This made me laugh. Hard. 🙂

But Du, I have SIX downspouts at This D*mn House. Only two have splash stones. (They came with the house; I left them in place.)

They all go out because I have extenders on every one. (I know this because I put them on!) 🙂

    1. Oh, I’m sure they noticed without being conscious of it. Your windows probably looked really clean. If they were dirty the people would have noticed that 🙂

  3. Aaron only knows something is different when he can smell a difference (smells, clean in here…or smells like you painted something)… or like when I clean the fridge and he says “where is all the food?”… men!

    1. I’m sure my husband would notice with his nose as well. He has an amazing sense of smell. Is there a spray that “smells clean”? Or do I just need to squirt cleaner here and there?
