I have signed up for yet another photo journal project. Willette’s Joy of Love. This is only for one month and it’s a daily prompt, which will help me be more creative. What’s super cool is, along with the photo prompt, she gives tips each day on how to take better pictures. Today’s tip was about lighting. I learned a new term: “catchlight”.

The prompt for today was “What They Do”. We’re supposed to take pictures of our loved one/s all month. I chose to take a picture of Reagan “doing school” because she does that a lot. There isn’t any catchlight in the picture, but there didn’t have to be.

She looks so studious. She is getting much better about being able to focus on her own, without me having to hover, prompting her to keep going. Maybe this is God telling me I can move along and start working with Ashlyn as well.

I managed to catch this photo as well today. I just thought it was cool.
