I’ve been learning a little about composition in an online class I have been watching the last two days. The class was on family photography, photojournalism style.
I like the composition of this photo. It’s not perfect, but I love how Reagan’s chin is pointing to the words “Fall of the Wall” and she’s looking up, like she’s wondering about the wall she’s standing against. Yes, the pipe looks like it’s coming out of her head, but it might be considered a leading line. And Ashlyn’s eyes are following the line of the horizontal wall. They’re almost mirroring each other – if only Ash was looking up as well.
