A reporter from Florida Today stopped and talked to me while we were waiting for the shuttle to launch. I forgot about until tonight and I looked it up. I made the article!

Vicki Diesing, 32, of Warrensburg, Mo., had her daughter, Ashlyn, 1, standing between her knees. Ashlyn seemed oblivious to the shuttle event, first focusing on flinging a coloring book around, and next examining a pebble she picked up off the ground.
Diesing, on the other hand, watches shuttle launches religiously. This is her first launch since coming to see one in the 10th grade.
“It just fascinates me,” she said. “Space just fascinates me.”

FAMOUS!!!! Wow. But I have to admit what caught me off guard, at first…”Vicki Diesing, 32…” What? When did we get in our 30’s? Oh yeah..3 years ago. For that matter, happy birthday…you just got 32 in the article, huh? And happy birthday to Reagan, too!
Yay Vicki! How do you feel though, about being identified as being from Warrensburg, MO? I always tell people I’m from NY even thought I’ve lived in VA for almost 10 years! I’m surprised you didn’t i.d. as a true Southern girl…=)
WOW! Can I have your autograph! LOL! Sounds like you had fun!
Being identified from MO…I don’t care for it, but it’s what she chose. When people ask us where we’re from we explain we’re in MO now but are from Georgia.
