This man and I were cut from the same cloth. I guess I shouldn’t go that far. I’ll say this: we have the same sense of humor. You’ve got to love a guy who can’t help but kill his political career because of all of the public gaffes he makes. At least I can. Because I feel for him…I’d be doing the same thing. Admit it, what he said about Justice Roberts’ memory was pretty funny. He was cracking a joke! Did you see it?
It’s even funnier because Obama was clearly…perturbed shall we say. Was it appropriate considering the circumstances and the fact that there was tons of media around? Probably not, but that’s why I like him (his humor at least)–he says what he thinks no matter what the level of appropriateness. After all, I’ve been known to insert my foot deep into my pie hole. So here’s to Joe Biden and his sense of humor. This guy is going to make the next four years truly entertaining.

He is a funny guy…and so much more light-hearted than the Prince of Death, Dick Cheney! I wonder if Obama yelled at him for that crack? I thought it was pretty funny, too! 🙂

Yeah, I saw that look. It’s one of those rare moments where our new prez clearly showed his lack of amusement.
Yeah, that was a little uncomfortable for Obama, but I’m like you…I appreciate a little honest humor. We know they didn’t approve of making him the Chief Justice–so at least he didn’t try to cover it up. I bet her got chewed out afterward.

LOL! I haven’t seen this and boy you can tell Obama is NOT happy. I saw a story that said Biden’s wife let it slip on an Oprah taping that he was given the choice of being VP or Sec. of State and Biden quickly shooshed his wife. These types of things take me back to the Bush/Quayle days of entertainment. (Puke on Japan’s Prime Minister and Quayle’s “potatoe.”)
