We traveled across country last May. I’ll probably end up editing a lot of pictures this month from that trip. One of those trips of a lifetime.
Jackson Hole, the Tetons, and Yellowstone were absolutely amazing! This was our first view of the area as we crossed over from Idaho into Wyoming – on WY22, the Teton Pass Hwy.
The original was magnificent but needed some more contrast and more vibrant colors. I also lightened up the foreground just a touch.

This bell sits on top of one of the buildings at the Amish Farm in Lancaster, PA.
Such a cool place to go if you’ve ever contemplated becoming Amish (I have, but couldn’t give up my phone. . .).
The original: There’s not a huge difference between the two pics. I sharpened it, upped the contrast, and lowered the saturation just a touch. I also made the clapper more noticeable.

The original was cute, but there was nothing special about it. I went through so many things to edit it, and then ended up layering one of my favorite Lightroom presets on top. Oh, I also cropped out those weird orange cables that it looks like she’s holding.

Garden of the Gods sits nestled underneath Pike’s Peak. It’s hard to see it in this shot, but there are some kissing camels, too.

I cropped in the original to eliminate some of the unnecessary side scenery and upped the contrast. I lightened up a little the dark foreground. I didn’t want it too light to maintain the layering in the photo.
