Friday 13: Pop Quiz

Du has today off, so we have a three day weekend! To celebrate I’m giving you a pop quiz. 13 actually. Heather used to do these a lot. Dandelionmom posted a bunch of these recently, so I’m basically stealing them from her.

Before you do anything though head over to Best Posts of the Week and submit your best post of the week! BPOTW is doing well and growing every week. I’m seeing the BPOTW button on more and more websites. Blog Around the World and Blog Coach are both huge supporters. Thanks!

  1. Why did I do all these quizzes? Beats me. But I did. Here’s my answers.

    1. I belong in 1954
    2. 1950s Diva (I sense a theme)
    3. Rockstar name: Angel Agony (I could do this!)
    4. I am Bert (I’ve always identified with him!)
    5. DJ Juicy Beatbox (yuck!)
    6. 37% well-travelled in Western US, 46% well-travelled in Southern US, the rest even less (well, I’m still young)
    7. 24% sloth (mainly cuz I won’t take the stairs…they hurt my knees, so maybe I’m older than I thought?)
    8. I belong in Australia (yeah!)
    9. I act like I’m 28 (so true, but I’m 25)
    10. 30% Pirate, nevertheless,
    11. I’m Captain Flirty Fran (LOL)
    12. Band name: Plastic Nuns (yes, this works with the “Angel Agony” too)
    13. I’ve changed 76% in 10 years (pretty good, since I was in high school 10 years ago!)

  2. dandelionmom says:

LOL!! Venus Nasty-the lead singer for the republican tulips?? Rock on wit yo nasty, cheerful, springy self! What do you smash up on stage?? taxes? Maybe Du can find you a mug with your new name! (I KILL myslef!)

  3. Hi, I wanted to let you know that I used just regular 12×12 scrapbook paper… it fit my sheet and I painted the sides, so it made it look even better (the bottom of the cookie sheet that is) Hope that helped!

  4. you don’t even have to photoshop, go to the site and search for bon jovi and then all you do is upload the picture there, then just zoom in or out and move her face around til it fits, it’s super easy. the site is on the bottom of both pictures. if you want me to do it though I don’t mind just email me a picture

  5. Vicki,

Remember my Thingamajig post? I have issued a challenge today and several people have emailed me in private saying they were on their way to find something. One has already posted and I have no clue what her item is – I’m hoping you can go to her site and guess as you did such a great job on mine. I also mentioned you in the comments as being correct especially on the flower frog. Here is the info I sent out:
I challenge you to go in to your drawers, closets, cabinets right now and find something that would go with my post on Thingamajig – link back to me to show everyone what we are doing – leave a comment with your post linked for others to go view. I would love to stroll down memory lane with you!

  6. I’ve only made it through the first one. Will slowly work my way down over the weekend!

I belong in 1982. Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You’re colorful at night – and successful during the day. (This is not surprising to me. Stealing a line from Sinatra: “It was a very good year.”)

  7. In that travel quiz it says that I am mostly untravelled in Asia. But, I’ve lived and travelled in Mongolia (my husband in Mongolian) and spent a summer in Pakistan as a teen. But, they didn’t list the cities where I’ve been! Bummer!
