New York or France?

We left Central Park, wandering around and heading towards FAO Schwarz (when it was still open). This building took our breath away. It’s at the corner of 58th and 7th. I had to google it tonight to get info on it. It’s called the Alwyn Court, and it was built in the early 1900s usingContinue reading “New York or France?”

Straightening buildings

Another beautiful fall day in Central Park. One of the awesome things Lightroom can do is straighten buildings.  My 17-55mm lens can distort tall objects, and with buildings, that’s not a good thing. I’m either at the beginnings of dementia, or our lives are so busy that my brain can’t hold all the awesomeness. They look so delicious, I’m sure they tastedContinue reading “Mini pies”

Somewhat Selfie

Moms are rarely in family pics because they’re behind the camera. Every once in a while I’ll set the camera up on a tripod and try to get some shots with me in the frame. This was taken in 2011 – we all look so much younger! And editing definitely helps with skin tone! I croppedContinue reading “Somewhat Selfie”
