You never know what you’re going to find on a farm. Tractors and pumpkins: definitely. A gorgeous fence, field, and sunset: any day. But steps that lead to nothing? I chuckled at that one. Bridges over the Seine

One of the most romantic places. The original was pretty lopsided. I cropped to straighten and then made it black and white. I cloned out the lines in the upper right corner and used an adjustment brush to make the brick of the lower bridge have more contrast. Church at the Burg

There’s a small church at Burg Lichtenberg. Reach it by the cobblestone pathway. The original was dark and flat. I warmed the whole picture, then I used a radial filter and adjustment filter to sharpen the cobblestones but soften the church and light around it. When you think of German countryside, this is what comes to mind. Fairy tale Traben-Trarbach along the Moselle River The original photo was beautiful, but a tad dim.
